Therefore, Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic created Agorateka Slovakia to provide a single access point to legal offer websites in the Slovak Republic and to allow you to find legal content sources easily and quickly. Agorateka Slovakia also provides an overview of the online landscape of websites offering creative content in the Slovak Republic. It contains useful information, including statistics, for citizens and businesses.

Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic is a central body of state administration of the Slovak Republic inter alia for copyright and copyright laws. Competence of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic in the field of copyright is exercised by Copyright Unit. Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, especially Copyright Unit, tries on the long-term basis to raise the awareness of the public about copyright and related rights through various projects and campaigns. The newest project is Agorateka Slovakia – national portal with legal online content websites. The main objective of Agorateka Slovakia is to obtain easy and fast access to legal offers of copyright-protected works and other subject matter and reduce the access to content from the illegal sources.
